Charges are processed and placed on the client’s credit card once the trip is completed, never prior to your trip. Prior to your ride you may receive a pre-authorization, which is a preliminary charge that will be removed by your credit card company once your trip is completed. If a ride is cancelled, the pre-authorization will be removed shortly by your credit card company.
We ask that a reservation for a Luxury Sedan or SUV be cancelled 2 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time to avoid a cancellation fee. A reservation for a Stretch Limousine, or Van should be cancelled 4 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time, and a reservation for a Coach bus should be cancelled 48 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time to avoid a cancellation fee.
Crestwood is required to collect sales tax only when riding in the state of New York.
Crestwood chauffeurs typically meet and greet passengers inside the airport terminal with a Crestwood company name sign. Alternatively, chauffeurs may meet passengers curbside or outside of the airport terminal at your request. For a curbside pickup service the passenger should call Crestwood’s dispatch office or the driver directly once he or she is ready to be picked up. A standard 20% gratuity is automatically charged to the account or credit card on all trips. Additional cash gratuity to the chauffeur is not required.
Toll and parking charges that the chauffeur incurs on a trip will be billed to the client. Toll charges may vary depending on the time of day or route chosen. Round trip tolls will be billed if the chauffeur incurs a toll on the return trip to the origin city.
Crestwood offers a 14-minute grace period on non-airport pickups. Any waiting time after 14 minutes will be billed in the full amount. For example, if a reservation is made for 5:00 pm and the client arrives at 5:14 pm there will not be a waiting fee. If the client arrives at 5:15 pm there will be a waiting time fee of 15 minutes.
Crestwood offers 30 minutes of free waiting time on airport reservations. For example, if an airport reservation is made for 5:00 pm and the client meets the driver at 5:30 pm there will not be a waiting fee. If the client enters the car at 5:45 pm there will be a waiting time fee of 15 minutes.
Crestwood’s software automatically updates flight arrival times every 5 minutes and transmits this information to the chauffer. The chauffeur will enter the airport terminal once the flight arrives, unless requested otherwise by the passenger.
Stops requested by the passenger during a trip will be added to the invoice. The cost of a stop varies depending on its distance from the final destination. Certain quick stops may be complimentary such as a coffee or restroom break.
